Catch Up

Today i spent most of my time revising and fixing my proposal and timeline table.

November 5th, 2008

i am working towards getting finish with my proposal, at the rate im going it will be finished by the end of this week. After starting (and near to finishing) my proposal, ive been thinking of ways to display my project. i haven't decided if i wanted to do a video of my working with children or if i wanted to do a interveiw and just simply use facts...

Obstacles

Now that im in the stage of doing my proposal, alot of things are not coming in place. such as finding information need to do my research and finding out how im going to make my project come to life. so obstacles is the perfect word to say about my graduation project..

Today is kind of a bad day... my computer wasn't really working with me today, but i manage to get to my H drive and finish up on my questions, and working on my proposal...

Work Work Work

Today i am working on finishing my key terms and webliogrphy, i am also working on ideas i can use to make my project come a live, such as brainstorming different songs that i can use to help students pick up basic skills in subjects like, math, spelling, and grammer. .

TOO HOOT TO HANDLE!!!!

I HAVE JUST FOUND A SOURCE! My mother & father have a CD for the daycare (TLC Learning Center) by the hootz titled "too hoot to handle". Which plays a list of songs that young children can enjoy, but also learn good habits and morals, such as never giving up, having fun, and staying in school.
Some songs that are listed are:
~ itsy bisty spider(rap version)
~Fun all day
~Mary Had a little Lamb

This will be my first example for my project.

k Today isn't really a good day, I've found many articles aka sources that are involved with my topic, but none of them have givin me some decent information that can help me move forward in my project. . . . .

d So for the remainder of class ill be working on a different way to recieve information

Research

Today i'm working on finding the focus of my project. At the moment i am finding articles and doing some research that will help me get some valuable information. Over the weekend ive found a couple of sorces, that has helped me get closer and closer to my goal. . .

Now comes the time for the exciting part!! : finding way to make my project come to life, and become bigger and better then any ordinary project. . .!!!

What affect does music have on student learning?

-Ex. Sheridan didn't know how to spell "INDEPENDENT" or "BOLOGNA"
but after she heard songs like indepenent: by webbie, and the oscar mayer comercial, she knows how to spell theses words correctly. .

Grad brain storm

I'm very interested in music, so i'm thinking that i want to focus my project on music, but like Mrs. Savido says, "Thats a topic, but whats the project?"

- i don't thik that blogging indicates signs of an unhealthy obsession, blogging is more like a hobby, or a way to waste time.
- something that makes a person's blog worth reading is when they have information or ideas that interest everyone. ex. writing a blog about who the next president should be or about gas prices.
